The price of red lettuce rose by 17.3 percent as of July 5 compared to the previous week, according to data from Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation. The prices of other vegetables such as cabbage, perilla leaves and spinach are also on an uptrend due to monsoon season in Korea.
