The president of the EFE Agency, Miguel Ángel Oliver, vindicated the journalism of news agencies in contexts of political polarization because they contribute to providing rigorous, pluralistic and contrasted information. 'When there is such excessive polarization (the media) we are part of the problem, but I believe that the agencies are, if possible, the medicine to try to do depolarized journalism,' Oliver highlighted during his participation in the panel 'Reporting in Times of Polarization', during the Gabo Festival, which is being held from 05 to 07 July in Bogotá.
