epa11454979 A firefighting helicopter operates during a wildfire at the north foot of Hymettus mountain in Athens, Greece, 03 July 2024. A forest fire broke out in the suburban district of Glyka Nera in Attica, which is located near the northeastern flank of Mount Hymettus. A force of 100 firefighters with 25 vehicles and six teams on foot were mobilised to battle the flames, assisted by nine firefighting airplanes and seven helicopters, of which one was being used for coordination.
