The "Velyka Rodyna (Big Family)" shelter is organized by volunteers and takes in lonely elderly people who have been evacuated from areas of constant shelling and fighting in the Kharkiv region. The people who live there need regular medical help and cannot survive on their own, according to Valyka Rdyna. The home is financed exclusively by private donations. All services are provided to the people free of charge and all their pensions are still available to them.
