Samsung releases invitation for Galaxy Unpacked to debut new AI-topped foldables

Samsung Electronics on Wednesday sent out an official invitation for its upcoming Unpacked event for its latest foldable smartphones and wearable gadgets.

The event will be held on July 10 under the theme "Galaxy AI Is Here" in Paris, where the Olympics will take place from July 26.

The January Unpacked event was themed "Opening a New Era of Mobile AI."

The video in the invitation sent out Wednesday shows a geometric shape that resembles a foldable smartphone with a lit projection of the Eiffel Tower and four stars symbolizing the AI features of Samsung Electronics.

"The next frontier of Galaxy AI is coming. Prepare to discover the power of Galaxy AI, now infused into the latest Galaxy Z series and the entire Galaxy ecosystem. Get ready for a world of possibilities as we enter a new phase of mobile AI," the invitation read.

"On July 10, Samsung Electronics will host Galaxy Unpacked in Paris — where the iconic cultural nexus and trend epicenter becomes the perfect backdrop for the rollout of our latest cutting-edge innovations."

The upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 will be Samsung Electronics' first foldable smartphone series topped with AI features and second in total following the Galaxy S24 series launched early this year.

The Paris event is also expected to reveal more details about the Galaxy Ring, which was sneak-peeked at the January Unpacked event for the Galaxy S24 and MWC 2024 early this year.

It will also debut the latest versions of the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds.
