Samsung Electronics announced on Wednesday that its Bespoke refrigerator has exceeded 3 million units in cumulative domestic sales within five years of its launch. This milestone translates to an average of one unit sold per minute over the past five years.

First introduced in 2019, the Samsung Bespoke refrigerator stands out for allowing customers to customize the type, material, and color to match their personal preferences. This innovation ushered in the era of personalized home appliances, significantly impacting the appliance market.

Samsung credits the Bespoke refrigerator for establishing the company as a consumer-centric lifestyle brand. The continuous innovation has evolved food storage solutions, reflecting consumers’ individual styles and preferences.

In 2021, the Bespoke refrigerator expanded its range by introducing 360 prism color options in addition to the basic colors, providing a broader palette for customization. Demonstrating confidence in its technology, Samsung also introduced a “Lifetime Warranty” service for the refrigerator’s core component, the Digital Inverter Compressor.

In 2022, Samsung launched the Bespoke Infinite Line, emphasizing durability and timeless elegance, thus enhancing the premium kitchen experience.

This year, the company integrated advanced AI technology into its products. The 2024 model of the Bespoke AI Family Hub features “AI Vision Inside,” a function that automatically recognizes ingredients placed on the shelves and creates a food list.
