South Korea’s leading grocery delivery app, Kurly, announced on Tuesday the launch of its new quick commerce service, ‘Kurly Now,’ which promises to deliver orders within 1 to 2 hours.

Kurly Now aims to expedite the delivery of over 5,000 items across 15 categories, including home meal replacements (HMR), desserts, fresh produce, daily necessities, and cosmetics. This new service will initially be available in selected areas of Seoul, including Namgajwa-dong and Bukgajwa-dong in Seodaemun District, Mangwon-dong, Seongsan-dong, and Yeonnam-dong in Mapo District, and Jeungsan-dong in Eunpyeong District. Additional coverage includes parts of Seogyo-dong, Yeonhui-dong, Susaek-dong, and Sangam-dong.

Kurly Now operates seven days a week, with orders accepted between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. The minimum order amount is 15,000 won ($11), and orders over 50,000 won qualify for free delivery. To celebrate the launch, Kurly is offering a free delivery coupon for first-time users of Kurly Now who meet the minimum order requirement.

Delivery fees are structured based on the purchase amount: 4,900 won for orders below 30,000 won, 3,900 won for orders between 30,000 won and 40,000 won, and 1,900 won for orders between 40,000 won and 50,000 won.

Kurly plans to expand the service to other areas in Seoul and increase the product variety once the service stabilizes in the initial regions.
