NCSoft to reorganize business by splitting off two divisions

NCSoft Corp. will split off two divisions as part of efforts to reorganize its business to improve cost and resource efficiency.

According to the South Korean game publisher, NCSoft held an ad-hoc board meeting on Monday and decided to split the company and form two new companies.

NCSoft plans to create new subsidiaries by separating its quality assurance (QA) services division and its application software development and delivery division, the company said.

The new subsidiaries will be responsible for QA services and application software development, respectively.

Previously, the company announced plans to sell its old office building in southern Seoul to address declining performance.
