Boy band Seventeen's subunit Jeonghan X Wonwoo’s debut album, "This Man," set a record for the highest first-week sales ever for a K-pop subunit album, selling over half a million copies in just four days.
"This Man" by Jeonghan X Wonwoo achieved cumulative album sales of 695,027 copies, according to market tracker Hanteo Chart as of Friday at 11 a.m.
"This Man" is an album inspired by the urban legend of a man that pops up in the dreams of everyone around the world, according to Pledis Entertainment. The album includes the track "Last Night," Jeonghan's solo track "Beautiful Monster" and Wonwoo's solo track "Leftover."
Jeonghan X Wonwoo premiered the dance performance for “Last Night” on Mnet's “M Countdown” on Thursday. The subunit also appeared on the U.S. digital music platform Genius for its “Open Mic” live performance segment the same day.
Seventeen performed at the Weverse Con 2024 festival held at Incheon's Inspire Entertainment Resort on Sunday, the second day of the festival.
