Currency exchange after new sanction in Moscow

The Russian Ruble continues to strengthen against the Euro and US Dollar, as the Central Bank of Russia has set foreign exchange rates to the Russian ruble, US Dollar 87.03 and Euro 93.29. Trading in dollars and euros has not been carried out on the Moscow Exchange since 13 June 2024 due to sanctions. According to Interfax, the United Kingdom joined US sanctions against the Moscow Exchange and has added the Moscow Exchange, the National Clearing Center (NCC), and the National Settlement Depository (NSD) to the sanctions list and also included SPB Exchange. The Central Bank of Russia announced that transactions with the US Dollar and Euro will continue to be carried out on the over-the-counter market.
