BTS member Jimin will release his second solo album “Muse” on July 19 at 1 p.m., his agency BigHit Music said Tuesday.
“Muse” is Jimin’s first album in one year and four months. He released the album “Face” last March. The new album is set to have seven songs, including the solo single “Closer Than This” released last December, according to the agency.
“The album is about searching for the source of inspiration,” BigHit Music said in a press release. “This album will be a testament to Jimin’s expanded musical spectrum.”
Content Jimin prepared before his military enlistment will be released ahead of the new album.
Jimin enlisted in December last year and is serving in the 5th Infantry Division Artillery Brigade of the army. He is set to be discharged on June 11 next year.
Jimin's previous solo album "Face" ranked No. 2 on the Billboard 200 album chart upon its release, and its lead track "Like Crazy" (2023) topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
