Blackpink's Rosé has signed a management contract with The Black Label and is currently preparing new music.
"Based on the deep trust Rosé and Teddy built over the years, as an artist and a producer, Rosé signed a management contract with The Black Label," Rosé's new agency said in a statement Tuesday.
"Rosé is currently preparing to meet the global fans with new music and will engage in music activities around the world with a global label."
The Black Label is an entertainment agency co-founded and headed by Teddy, a veteran producer behind numerous K-pop hits from artists including Blackpink, Big Bang and 2NE1.
All four members of Blackpink — Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa — signed exclusive contracts with YG Entertainment for group activities in December 2023 but are continuing their individual careers elsewhere.
