A string of pop-up stores are set to take place this month ranging from boy band Riize and girl group NewJeans to an offline event by hip-hop record label AOMG.
Boy band Riize will open a pop-up store to celebrate the release of its first EP, "RIIZING," which drops on June 17.
The pop-up store, open from June 14 to 23, will be held at Starfield Suwon in Gyeonggi, at both the Tower Atrium and Grand Atrium on the first floor.
The pop-up store will feature special listening zones for the EP's lead track "Boom Boom Bass" featuring narrations by Riize, a photo booth and spaces to purchase albums and merchandise, according to a press release from SM Entertainment on Thursday.
Girl group NewJeans will open a pop-up store from June 26 to July 10, themed after its upcoming Japanese single "Supernatural." The store will offer merchandise created in collaboration with Japanese artist Takashi Murakami and Japanese musician and designer Hiroshi Fujiwara.
NewJeans collaborated with Murakami for the physical copies of the single, which will be sold in drawstring bags and cross bags. The girl group worked with Fujiwara for street fashion items including T-shirts, bandannas and hats.
NewJeans will release its Japanese debut single "Supernatural" on June 21. The “Supernatural” pop-up will be available at the Line Friends Square store in Myeong-dong, central Seoul.
The girl group currently has an ongoing pop-up named after its latest single, "How Sweet," open at the Line Friends store in Sinsa-dong, southern Seoul. The pop-up store has several items available for purchase, including Powerpuff girls T-shirts, keyrings, photos, pouches and posters. The store will be open until June 17.
Girl group cignature will open a pop-up store as well.
After releasing its 5th EP, "Sweetie but Saltie," on Monday, cignature will open a pop-up store at the Whosfan Cafe Myeong-dong location from Thursday to June 19, according to Hanteo Global, the operator of the cafe franchise on Thursday.
The pop-up store will showcase videos and images of cignature, merchandise, macaron cookies designed by the group, photo cards and special voice messages from the group.
Fans who purchase albums from 10:30 a.m. on Saturday to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday at the pop-up store can enter a lucky draw for a chance to participate in a cignature fan sign event and video call scheduled for June 23. A total of 120 fans will be selected.
Hip-hop record label AOMG will hold a pop-up store on Saturday and Sunday.
The pop-up store, "AOMG Most Wanted 2024," will take place at streetwear brand Kasina Hannam's location in Yongsan District, central Seoul, from 11 a.m. on Saturday to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
The pop-up store will debut four vinyl records produced by AOMG, according to the label on Thursday. These include the limited edition vinyl of the AOMG compilation album "The Essential," rapper Woo's EP "Comma," singer Lee Hi's full-length album "4 Only" and rapper Coogie's EP "Diff."
Vinyl records previously released by AOMG and its sub-labels 8BallTown and Solabeam Records will also be available for purchase.
AOMG is home to rappers Loco, Jvcki Wai and Coogie, as well as singers Hoody, DeVita and Meenoi.
