Conscripts from the Life Guards during military exercise at Danish Kulsbjerg Training Area

The REX-tour is the last exercise, which the conscripts have to go through, before they can call themselves Royal Life Guards (Den Kongelige Livgarde) and change their green uniform with the bearskin hat uniform of the prestigious guard and ceremonial unit of the Danish Royal household. The conscription at The Royal Life Guards - a mechanized infantry regiment of the Danish Army that dates back to its foundation in 1658 - is divided into two parts.
