Geo Barents ship docked at the port carrying 165 migrants, mainly from Eritrea, rescued in the Libyan area. Among the rescued migrants are 109 recovered onboard a rubber dinghy and 37 from a fiberglass boat. There are 33 minors on board, around thirty of whom are unaccompanied. While traveling towards Genoa, the ship recovered 11 bodies at sea for migrants who drowned in a previous shipwreck, before they were transferred to a Coast Guard patrol boat near Lampedusa.
