Lotte Card partners with Macrogen for genetic testing service

Lotte Card announced on Tuesday that it signed a business agreement with healthcare company Macrogen to introduce Macrogen’s GeneTalk genetic testing service on its DIGI LOCA app next month.

Under the partnership, the two companies will offer a “Lotte Card Member Exclusive DTC (Direct To Customer) Genetic Testing Service” on the app, providing access to 129 different test items.

Lotte Card plans to organize payment promotions and collaborate to ensure Macrogen’s services are seamless integrated on the DIGI LOCA app. This service will enable consumers to conveniently access their genetic information, including factors affecting hair loss, athletic ability, sleep patterns, and appetite, directly through the app.

Lotte Card emphasized that it would continue to work closely with Macrogen to ensure that users can easily access and understand their genetic information that is provided by the app.
