Girl group NewJeans solid over a million copies of its latest single "How Sweet," marking the fourth time the quintet surpassed the 1-million-sales milestone since its debut.
Released on May 24, the single has sold 1,085,355 copies as of Saturday, the girl group's agency ADOR said, citing local album tracker Circle Chart.
With this single, NewJeans has achieved the feat of selling 1 million copies of all of its releases so far, including the debut album "NewJeans" (2022), which sold 1.59 million copies, "OMG" (2023), which sold 1.66 million copies and "Get Up" (2023), which sold 2.14 million copies.
The title track of "How Sweet" sits high on music charts in and outside of Korea, including domestic charts Melon, Genie and Bugs as well as Spotify, where it is currently No. 119 on the streaming service's Weekly Top Song Global Chart as of Saturday.
NewJeans is set to release its Japanese debut single "Supernatural" on June 21 and hold two meet and greet events with fans on June 26 and 27.
