Servicemen receive aid and materials for position construction near a frontline in Kharkiv's area

In May 2024, Russian forces initiated a cross-border offensive in the Kharkiv region, seizing control of several villages and parts of the city of Vovchansk. According to head of the Kharkiv Military Administration Oleg Synegubov, more than 15,000 residents from settlements in areas of the Kharkiv region bordering Russia have been evacuated due to the attack.
