Le Sserafim's agency Source Music is pursuing legal action against online malicious posts and comments about the girl group, the agency said Friday.

“A substantial amount of posts and comments has been compiled, leading to filing complaints with investigative authorities for offenses such as insult, defamation under the Information and Communications Network Act and the use of communication media for sexual harassment under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act,” said the agency. “We are still gathering more evidence."
The legal actions of Source Music target malicious slander, false information, personal attacks, derogatory terms, mockery and crude comments.
“Investigations into those who posted malicious content have been ongoing for an extended period,” said the agency. “Numerous defendants have been criminally convicted, receiving fines up to 2 million won ($1,460) for their offenses.”
“Despite the time it may take, we remain committed to eradicating illegal activities against our artists. We will continue to take firm action without leniency against any cases of rights violations,” said the agency.
Le Sserafim's agency announced plans to intensify legal measures against malicious posts in late April, saying it will "continue to strive to protect the rights and interests of our artists.”
