Afghan girls hopeful of making it to Kankur exams

Despite not attending school or university for three years, Afzali remains determined, studying for the entrance exam and attending English courses daily. She states, 'When we graduated from school, we hoped that they would take us for the entrance examination', highlighting the stark contrast with her male classmates who were able to proceed. Female students are calling on the Taliban government to reopen universities and schools for girls above the sixth grade.
