SSG.com launches MyTheresa brand mall for DO purchases

SSG.com, the e-commerce subsidiary of Shinsegae Group, announced on Monday that it will open an official direct overseas (DO) purchases brand mall for global luxury platform MyTheresa. It is the third official luxury direct purchase mall introduced in 2024 to date, following the launch of similar sites for Net-a-Porter and MR PORTER in January.

MyTheresa, which began as a luxury boutique in Munich, Germany in 1987, transitioned to an online mall in 2006. The platform now offers over 200 high-end brands, including Moncler, SAINT LAURENT, Valentino, and Acne Studios. It introduces more than 900 new products weekly and ships to over 130 countries worldwide.

SSG.com will operate separate sections for MyTheresa’s women’s and men’s collections, providing customers with tailored product recommendations. The platform will also feature exclusive items released via collaborations between MyTheresa and various luxury brands.

To streamline the return process and alleviate the inconvenience of sending items back overseas, SSG.com has partnered with luxury fashion specialist AdoreLUX to offer a return handling service. This service aims to enhance customer satisfaction by simplifying returns for international purchases.
