BTS member Jin is getting ready to meet his fans in person next Thursday, the day after he completes his mandatory military service.
A festival, dubbed “2024 Festa,” is to be held in the Songpa District in southern Seoul on June 13, the band’s agency BigHit Music said Sunday.
The festival is an annual event for the band and its fans to celebrate the anniversary of the boy group's debut.
This year, Jin is slated to hold a fan meet and greet at Jamsil Indoor Stadium a day after he completes his mandatory military service as part of the festival, an event requested by the singer himself, his label said.
The fan event will be carried out in two sessions — a first session titled “Jin’s Greetings” and a second called “Message from Jin: June 13 2024.”
During the first session, a hug event will be held, where the artist hugs 1,000 fans.
In the second session, special programs and performances will be showcased for ARMY, the group's official fan club, showing various sides of Jin, the agency added.
Along with Jin’s meet and greet, the “2024 Festa” will be held at Jamsil Sports Complex from 11a.m. to 9 p.m. on the same day. Various programs, including photo zones, will be set up for fans to enjoy.
All seven members of BTS are currently completing their mandatory military service.
Jin will be the first to complete his service, which ends on June 12. He will then be followed by J-Hope in October and Suga, RM, Jungkook and Jimin in June 2025. To find out more about BTS and Jin, visit Celeb Confirmed!
