Paris Baguette to sponsor Team Korea for 2024 Paris Olympics

Paris Baguette, a bakery chain under South Korea’s SPC Group, has announced a sponsorship agreement with the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC) to support the Korean national team for the upcoming 33rd Paris Olympics.

The sponsorship agreement was signed on Thursday at a ceremony held at the Jincheon National Training Center in Jincheon, North Chungcheong Province.

Attendees in the ceremony included Paris Croissant CEO Hur Jin-soo and National Training Center Head Jang Jae-keun.

Under the partnership, Paris Baguette aims to provide various forms of support to ensure that Team Korea athletes can perform at their best during the Paris Olympics, set to begin on July 26.

Paris Baguette will also have the rights to use the KSOC’s emblem and official partner designation, as well as the emblems of Team Korea and other intellectual properties such as the mascot Dalli for marketing promotions until the end of 2028.

Highlighting the significance of the Olympics returning to Paris after 100 years, Paris Baguette plans to provide encouragement bread and celebratory cakes to the athletes to Team Korea through its local store in France.
