SK stoa now gives AI-driven clothing size recommendations

Online marketplace operator SK stoa Co. launched an AI-based clothing size recommendation service, Size Talk, the company said Thursday.

The service provides customers with size recommendations for each specific clothing item when they enter their gender, height, and weight by comparing existing body measurements and body measurement ranges with the specific clothing information to provide customized size recommendations.

The company will roll out this service to new or newly launched products in June 2024, with plans to expand the application to all its fashion brands later.

In the first quarter of 2024, approximately 54 percent of returns and exchanges in SK stoa‘s fashion apparel category were due to sizing dissatisfaction. The company expects that the introduction of this new service will reduce the number of returns and increase customer satisfaction.

“We will ensure that customers have the best shopping experience with optimal products and differentiated services,” the company said.
