Grand Hyatt Seoul in Yongsan District took 11th place in the Top 50 Meeting Hotels in Asia Pacific list released by hospitality rankings platform Cventon Wednesday.
Cvent annually announces the rankings based on a comprehensive set of evaluations, including the number of MICE conferences held and the venue's services and facilities.
Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, ranked 33rd and InterContinental Seoul COEX, also in Gangnam District, ranked 37th on the same list.
Grand Hyatt Seoul's Grand Ballroom covers 12,927 square feet and can accommodate up to 2,000 people for events such as large conferences, exhibits, weddings and fashion shows. It is equipped with a built-in stage that has high-tech, divisible LED wall panels, according to the hotel.
Its smaller spaces, such as the Namsan Meeting Rooms, residential-styled event space Sansoo and Business Center Meeting Rooms can hold up to 240, 100 and 16 people, respectively.
The hotel has a total of 616 rooms.
