Neowiz‘s Intella X invests in blockchain game developer

Intella X, a blockchain subsidiary of South Korean game publisher Neowiz Games Corp., announced Wednesday that it has made an equity investment in blockchain game developer Supervillain Labs Inc.

The investment was spearheaded by Intella X and Aptos Labs, with contributions from six global blockchain companies and investors, including Spartan Capital Securities, KIP-CRIT Interactive Contents Fund, and Planetarium Labs.

The seed round of funding has raised $4.5 million for Supervillain Labs.

Supervillain Labs plans to launch its self-developed web3 game, “Supervillain Idle RPG,” in the first half of this year.

Neowiz aims to strengthen its collaboration with Supervillain Labs through joint projects leveraging the NFT collection “Early Retired Cats Club: ERCC.”
