Presentation of 600 works of art returned to Italy from the United States

The New York District Attorney's Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and Italian authorities worked together to return to Italy about 600 artworks stolen or illegally excavated and recovered in 2023 in the United States, for a value of around 60 million euros. According to the Italian Ministry of Culture, the repatriated works include 600 archaeological relics, 14 numismatic goods, four antiques, two manuscript scrolls and bibliographic material (over 1,000 documents).
