Sofitel Ambassador Seoul in Songpa District, southern Seoul, is holding a slew of promotions in light of the brand's 60th anniversary, the hotel announced Tuesday.
For stays between June 15 and July 15, it is offering its Opera Suite at the special price of 600,000 won ($442) for the first 100 guests to book before June 30. The promotion includes gym use as well.
At its French restaurant L'Espace on the hotel's sixth floor, the hotel will host a four-hands dinner helmed by Sofitel's head chef Mikael Robin and the Macau property's head chef Yvan Collet, on June 19. The dinner opens with a sabrage and the food is paired with LVMH's champagne brand Veuve Clicquot.
The hotel's bistro Fait Maison and Japanese restaurant Mio are also celebrating the brand's anniversary with special prices. Customers who spend over 600,000 won for dinner at the venues will be given a complimentary bottle of Veuve Clicquot champagne.
Sofitel, under the French hospitality group Accor, was founded in 1964 in Strasbourg city, northwestern France. Positioning itself as a modern luxury brand, it now has over 40 properties worldwide.
