Samsung to unveil Galaxy Ring at Unpacked event in July

Samsung Electronics Co. is set to unveil the Galaxy Ring, its first smart ring, at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in July.

According to sources on Sunday, Samsung Electronics will host the Unpacked event in Paris, France, on July 10, where it will introduce its new foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

The Galaxy Ring that was teased during the Unpacked event in January this year will also be unveiled.

The Galaxy Ring is a new wearable product from Samsung Electronics, with sleep tracking and heart rate monitoring features.

As the release date for the Galaxy Ring approaches, Samsung Electronics is closely monitoring market demand.

Earlier, Samsung unveiled three Ring colors - black, gold, and silver - along with a total of nine sizes for the Galaxy Ring.

The price is estimated to be in the range of 400,000 won ($292).

Foreign social media outlets such as SamMobile have speculated that the annual production volume of the Galaxy Ring could be between 400,000 to 500,000 units, with a price tag of around $300 to $350.

The price is relatively higher than the Galaxy Watch series. The basic model of last year’s Galaxy Watch 6 was priced at 329,000 won.
