UL Solutions Issues First Verified Healthy Building Mark in Taiwan to Nan Shan Life

TAIPEI CITY, Taiwan -- Businesswire -- UL Solutions (NYSE: ULS), a global leader in applied safety science, today announced that Nan Shan Life Insurance Co. Ltd. (Nan Shan Life) achieved the first UL Verified Healthy Building Mark for Indoor Environment in Taiwan for its headquarters in Taipei City.

This achievement marks a significant milestone in promoting the importance of indoor environmental quality (IEQ) in the region, as the commercial real estate industry is transforming to meet the evolving demands of tenants, employees and investors regarding healthy buildings. The UL Verified Healthy Building Mark for Indoor Environment is UL Solutions’ most comprehensive healthy building assessment, which helps the industry address these demands. Verified buildings meet rigorous performance criteria and have policies and plans in place for the continual advancement of IEQ, including indoor air, water, hygiene, lighting and acoustics.
