Pictured is a birds-eye view of The Hyundai Gwangju, a megamall slated for construction in Buk District, Gwangju, made in 2022. The blueprint for the department store, which will be built on the site of a former textile factory, will be revealed at Gwangju City Hall on Wednesday, Gwangju's city government said Monday. The complex will span 90,000 pyeong (3.2 million square feet), which is 1.5 times larger than The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido, western Seoul.
