Samsung Welstory opens cold chain logistics center in Vietnam

South Korea’s Samsung Welstory unveiled a new logistics center equipped with a cold chain system in Bac Ninh, northern Vietnam, last Wednesday.

Samsung Welstory has achieved an average annual sales growth rate of 21.4 percent over the past eight years after establishing its Vietnamese subsidiary in December 2014. With this logistics center infrastructure, the company plans to accelerate its expansion in the Vietnamese market even furthrrm

Covering an area of 37,000 square meters with a floor area of 26,700 square meters, the new logistics center is notably the first cold chain logistics center in the catering industry in Vietnam’s northern region. Located in a large industrial complex, it is situated in an ideal location that is conducive to future business expansion.

The Vietnam logistics center also includes technical research facilities such as a food research institute and a culinary academy. With these facilities, the center can now conduct internal inspections alongside analyses of residual pesticides and microorganisms to enhance the safety of food ingredients.
