Cuckoo to supply products to luxury hotels

Cuckoo announced on Wednesday that it will exclusively supply air purifiers, bidets, water purifiers, and other flagship products for the multi-purpose areas at Inspire Entertainment Resort, a 5-star hotel in Yeongjong Island.

This is Cuckoo’s first-ever business-to-business contract with a large hotel. The company also plans to expand its business of installing direct piped water purifiers in hotel rooms to reflect environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management at domestic hotels.

With the recent enforcement of the Resource Recycling Act, accommodations including hotels are no longer allowed to provide disposable items such as shampoo to guests. While bottled water is excluded from the ban, hotels are pushing for the installation of water purifiers in rooms to reduce plastic waste.

“We aim to enhance customer experience and expand our influence in the premium B2B market with products and services that meet the standards of luxury hotels,” a company spokesperson said.
