HD Hyundai Infracore, a subsidiary of HD Hyundai's construction equipment business, will display its autonomous technologies and compact equipment under its new Develon brand at Intermat 2024 in Paris starting Wednesday.
Intermat ranks among the world's three largest construction machinery trade fairs, alongside Conexpo in the United States and Bauma in Germany. Returning six years after being canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the exhibition runs from Wednesday through Saturday at Paris Nord Villepinte.
Within HD Hyundai Infracore’s exhibition booth covering 2,000 square meters (21,527 square feet), Develon's autonomous solution, named Concept-X 2.0, will be making its European debut. Attendees can also witness live demonstrations of the cabinless DX225-CX crawler excavator and DD100-CX dozer, showing the audience how autonomous machines can work together at construction sites.
The booth will feature a new range of compact equipment in its static display area, including a comprehensive lineup of excavators ranging from 1 to 10 tons, compact track loaders, dozers and other products catering to diverse customer needs.
The DL250-FCEV (fuel cell electric vehicle) will also make its debut, aligning with global carbon reduction initiatives. The machine, powered by hydrogen fuel cells with the capability to transition to a battery electric vehicle (BEV), significantly reduces carbon emissions with its single platform design.
A separate booth will showcase HD Hyundai Infracore’s engine business, unveiling the all-new DX05 5L and DX08 7.5L off-highway engines. These engines, compliant with the latest Stage V emissions regulations, offer advanced power and durability compared to their predecessors, with plans for launch later this year.
Various green products will be showcased at the exhibition booth, ranging from electric and hybrid excavators to a lineup of five new electric battery packs and a hydrogen combustion engine.
