Onnuri Gift Voucher merchant information to be updated

To help consumers know where they can use their Onnuri gift certificates, the merchant list will be updated as early as August 2024.

The Small and Medium Business Ombudsman under the Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on Wednesday that it held its first “Small Business Field Meeting” of the year alongside Small Business Market Promotion Corporation’s Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters.

During the meeting, concerns were raised about discrepancies between the information provided regarding Onnuri Gift Voucher merchants and the actual situation on the ground. It was reported that consumers were inconvenienced as they tried to find merchants who accepted the voucher, discovering that the stores had relocated or closed without the information being updated.

In response to these concerns, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced that it would act to update the Onnuri Gift Voucher merchant information to accurately reflect the current situation by August.
