VONAER, a South Korean urban air mobility startup, is offering a helicopter service from Gangnam in southern Seoul to Incheon International Airport at a one-way price of 440,000 won ($330) per person.

According to VONAER on Wednesday, the service reduces the travel time from an hour and 30 minutes to just 20 minutes.

VONAER’s service is divided into three main categories – tailored premium membership, which provides private charter services called VON Private for travel to any desired location at any time; VON Routine, a shuttle service between Gangnam and the Incheon airport that can be booked by anyone through the VONAER app; and VON Tour, a sightseeing service that allows passengers to explore the Seoul and Incheon skylines.

Customers can enjoy VONAER’s services through the app, where they can book tickets and access other service offerings seamlessly.

Signing up is convenient for foreigners as well, requiring only email and passport information.

“In today’s fast-paced society where efficient time management is increasingly demanded, wasted time on the road due to traffic congestion is becoming more prevalent,” said Shin Min, CEO of VONAER. “Through VONAER’s services, we aim to provide customers with more valuable and essential time to make significant choices.”
