epa11269794 (FILE) - Gold medalist Femke Bol of the Netherlands receives a cheque from World Athletics president Sebastian Coe after winning the Women's 400m final with a new Indoor World Record at the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow, Britain, 02 March 2024 (re-issued 10 April 2024). The World Athletics federation announced on 10 April 2024 that it will award prize money at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Athletes who will win a gold medal in each of the 48 athletics event will receive US $50,000. The money will come out of the Olympic Committee's revenue share that World Athletics receive every four years. EPA/ADAM VAUGHAN
