epa11269815 (FILE) - World Athletics president Sebastian Coe gives the bronze medals to the team of Great Britain during the medal ceremony for the men's 4x100m Relay final at the World Athletics Championships Oregon 2022 at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, USA, 23 July 2022 (re-issued 10 April 2024). The World Athletics federation announced on 10 April 2024 that it will award prize money at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Athletes who will win a gold medal in each of the 48 athletics event will receive US $50,000.
