Boy band SHINee member Onew will hold his first-ever solo fan meet, in Korea and Japan starting next month, according to his agency Griffin Entertainment on Wednesday.
Dubbed "2024 Onew Fanmeeting 'Guess!'" the event will kick off on May 18 at Sejong University's performance hall in Gwangjin District, eastern Seoul, and continue to Osaka from June 4 to 5 and Yokohama from June 7 to 8.
The fan meets are organized by Griffin Entertainment, a newly established entertainment agency that Onew joined in April after his contract with SM, his agency of 16 years, expired in March. Onew was the first celebrity to sign with Griffin. He still continues his band activities with SHINee through SM Entertainment.
Onew debuted as a member of SHINee in 2008. The band saw a blowout debut with "Replay" (2008) and found massive success with hits including "Ring Ding Dong" (2009), "Lucifer" (2010), "Sherlock" (2012) and "Dream Girl" (2013). He launched his solo career with his first EP, “Voice,” in 2018 and has since released a second EP, “Dice,” (2022) and his first full-length album “Circle” (2023).
Tickets to "2024 Onew Fanmeeting 'Guess!'" in Seoul will be available from April 18 at 8 p.m. through the local ticketing platform Interpark.
