Miele appoints new chief executive for Korean operations

German high-end domestic appliances manufacturer Miele & Cie. KG recently appointed a new head for its Korean operations.

Miele Korea said on Monday that Choi Moon-sup, the newly appointed chief executive of Miele Korea, is a management professional with an impressive 26-year career. He began working with GS Retail Co. in 1997, followed by prominent leadership positions at The Shilla Duty Free, the duty-free business of Hotel Shilla Co., and Nike, Inc. He assumed the role of Managing Director at Hermes Korea in 2013, where he oversaw retail operations, including for luxury brands.
