With just a day left before the April 10 parliamentary elections, majority Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung is under attack for his two controversial remarks: “I just pretended to be working hard” while jumping into his car after campaigning for the election last week, and “I ate samgyeopsal [pork belly]!” after apparently eating beef with a movie actor in a restaurant in his constituency in Incheon earlier this week. Lee is now bent on criticizing President Yoon Suk Yeol for his insensitivity toward inflation, including the high prices of green onions. [PARK YONG-SEOK]
