After Democratic Party (DP) leader Lee Jae-myung attacked President Yoon Suk Yeol for being out-of-touch regarding the high market price of green onions, the governing People Power Party (PPP) criticized Lee for claiming to eat samgyeopsal (pork belly) on X, formerly Twitter, with a movie actor supportive of Lee in a restaurant in his constituency in Incheon, which many have said is actually beef.
