The lounge is located at the same building with a job support center where offers some educational courses for middle aged people.

Hana Bank will also open a Financial School for seniors to offer them digitization education and consultations for asset management.

"With our efforts to treat senior customers as special guests, the Daejeon branch, which kept its spot for more than 50 years, has been refurbished into a branch for all middle-aged customers," said Hana Financial Group Chairman Ham Young-joo.

"We will make it a cultural hub for all customers to enjoy fruitful and beneficial experiences."

Hana Bank has been running various programs to help middle-aged talent get new jobs since Aug. 2022.

The commercial bank also opened a job center in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, to help older people to increase their capabilities in digital areas to get new jobs.
