Kolon Plastic to Rebrand as “KolonENP”

Industrial engineering plastics company Kolon Plastics is undergoing a name change to “Kolon ENP.” The announcement came via a notice for a shareholder meeting issued by the company on Thursday, which revealed plans to propose an amendment to its articles of incorporation, including the name change.

The name change will be confirmed once it is approved at the upcoming regular shareholder meeting scheduled for March 29th, 2024.

ENP in the new name is an abbreviation for Empowering New Possibility. The name reflects the company’s vision of creating new possibilities for a sustainable future through advanced, cutting-edge technology.

Meanwhile, EBEST Investment & Securities will change its name to LS Securities according to an electronic disclosure filing with the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) on Thursday. This follows a subsequent measure that makes LS Networks a major shareholder. EBEST will also hold a regular shareholder meeting on March 29th to confirm the change in its name to LS Securities via a shareholder vote.
