Innocean sets up special unit dedicated to generative AI

Innocean Worldwide Inc., the advertising unit of South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Group, announced Thursday that it has set up an artificial intelligence (AI) solution team focusing on establishing AI-based solutions and expertise.

Innocean Worldwide had created a generative AI task force last year to plan various generative AI-branded contents for clients and build related platforms.

The newly formed team aims to integrate generative AI technology into internal operational frameworks, thereby improving overall efficiency and facilitating the expansion of new business ventures.

The team is set to focus on optimizing operational workflows through the strategic application of generative AI technology.

In the marketing strategy formulation phase, AI technology will be used to comprehensively analyze customer data to build internal systems that can refine campaign performance predictions.

In the actual marketing communication phase, concerted efforts will be made to streamline the production of diverse visual content.

In line with its commitment to delivering personalized brand experiences, it will also offer tailored information and facilitate purchases as customers browse brands‘ official websites.

The company also intends to foster strategic collaborations with leading generative AI specialists, and establish collaborative platforms for ongoing discussion and innovation.

“With a dedicated unit for AI-powered solutions, we expect to deliver exclusive and unique new experiences to both internal and external customers on an expanded scale,” said Chief Executive Officer Lee Yong-woo.
