Samsung begins campaign for more inclusive AI update

Samsung Electronics Co. announced on Thursday that it will launch a range of discounts and promotion campaigns for consumers purchasing certain smartphones and tablets after its decision to deploy its Galaxy AI-enabled features to a broader lineup of smartphones.

As part of the promotion campaigns for the expanded update, customers who buy the Galaxy S24 series and other smartphones eligible for the update, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Flip5, and Z Fold 5, between March 15th and April 30th, 2024, will receive a complimentary Galaxy SmartTag 2.

Samsung Electronics will provide One UI 6.1 software (SW) update later in March for the smartphones launched in 2023, including the Galaxy S23 series.

The company will also offer discounts to students starting the spring semester, with discounts of up to 70 percent on accessories for the Galaxy Tab S9 tablets that are also eligible for the software update available from April 1st to May 31st, 2024.
