Singer BamBam of boy band Got7 will hold an additional concert in Bangkok on May 4 as an encore to his ongoing world tour "Area 52", the singer's agency Abyss Company said on Wednesday.
Titled “2023-2024 BamBam The 1st World Tour Encore [Area 52] in Bangkok,” the concert will be held at the Rajamangala National Stadium.
BamBam held two concerts in Bangkok last year for his first solo world tour “Area 52.” All 50,000 seats for the two concerts were sold out, according to Abyss Company.
The singer kicked off the tour in Seoul in September and has since performed at 11 regions in Asia and South America. He will start the European leg of the tour with a concert in Paris on March 22. The tour will come to an end with a final concert held in Bangkok, BamBam’s hometown city.
BamBam debuted in 2014 as a member of GOT7 in 2014 under JYP Entertainment. The singer made his solo debut under his current agency in 2021 with his first EP, “riBBon,” followed by his second EP "B" in 2022 and "Sour & Sweet," his first full-length solo album in March 2023.
Along with his music endeavors, BamBam has also been active in a variety of comedy and radio programs, most recently in Tving’s dating reality show “EXchange.”
