Lotte World Tower to host 2024 Sky Run Vertical Marathon in April

Lotte World Tower announced on Tuesday that it will host the ‘2024 Sky Run,’ a vertical marathon, on April 20th, 2024. Sky Run is an unconventional sports event where participants challenge their limits by climbing a total of 2,917 steps from the 1st to the 123rd floor of the Lotte World Tower in Seoul.

The event is set to be the largest in its history, with a total of 2,200 participants, including 1,500 competitors and non-competitive participants. Registration will begin at 11 AM on March 20th, 2024, via the Lotte On Sky Run page on a first-come, first-served basis and the participation fee is 50,000 won ($38). Particularly noteworthy is the introduction of the ‘Kids Sky Run’ for the 2024 edition, where one adult guardian and one elementary school child can participate together.

Participants can leave their expectations for Kids Sky Run on the event page Starting from Tuesday, and a total of 50 teams will be selected through a draw, whose results will be announced on March 26th, 2024.
