LG Uplus to provide AI Callbot solution to Cuckoo call centers

LG Uplus Corp. will provide its AI Callbot solution to call centers of Cuckoo Electronics Co. and Cuckoo Homesys Co., the company said on Tuesday.

The AI Callbot is part of the U+AICC on-premise solution, a structured artificial intelligence contact center (AICC) developed by LG Uplus.

This service features AI agents providing customer support through voice interactions.

The AI Callbot is designed to handle various tasks, including customer inquiries related to after-service requests, guidance for offline repair centers, and managing customers who purchased products online, such as through home shopping platforms.

Following a one-month pilot operation at Cuckoo call centers, LG Uplus reported a notable reduction of 75 percent in the number of customers calling back, demonstrating the effectiveness of the AI Callbot.

In its pursuit of delivering stable and reliable services, LG Uplus has upgraded its call center infrastructure.

The company also plans to incorporate its internally developed generative AI, ixi-GEN, into both structured and subscription-based AICC solutions in the future.

“We will continue to advance our AI services and take a leading role in innovating customer digital transformation (DX) experiences by developing practical applications,” said a company executive.
