Fans of boy band SHINee’s Key are invited to a special experiential exhibition featuring the singer’s music, held at Seongsu-dong, eastern Seoul.
Titled “Sweet Escape,” the immersive exhibition has visitors become interns at a dessert lab to dig into the lab’s mysteries, according to the event’s organizer Danal Entertainment on Friday.
The two floors will be divided into spaces that physically manifest Key’s discography: EPs “Bad Love” (2021) and “Good & Great” (2023) and albums “Gasoline” (2022) and “Killer” (2023).
Visitors will digitally access a "mission" that is assigned to them in different spaces. A variety of rewards will be given to visitors who complete the missions, Danal Entertainment said.
Limited edition merchandise and desserts created under the “Sweet Escape” theme will be sold on the second floor. There will also be a separate photo zone at the exhibition as well as a mobile photo frame prepared.
The exhibition runs from this Saturday through March 24. It is free of charge but requires either online or on-site registration. Online registration is available through Melon Ticket.
Key debuted as a member of boy band SHINee under SM Entertainment in 2008. He started his career as a solo artist with his digital single “Forever Yours” in November 2018, and has since been active in comedy shows, musicals and TV series in addition to his solo and band activities.
